Homeschool Companion, a new radio program for homeschooling families, launched today. In conjunction with the MyHomeSchool.com website, the program hopes to provide resources for home school families. The show airs every wednesday from 11am till Noon EST. You may go to LifeTalk.net to find a local station near you or to listen via live internet streaming. Each program features a segment for kids, a Q&A call in time, and tips for providing better education in the home.

A brand new educational book series has been launched called the "I can read" series. It features short, 32 page books that take children through the beginning stages of the reading process. Every book has a vocabulary section and reading comprehension questions at the back. Each page also includes the spanish text that goes along with the story. The two newest books are Herbie the Hippo, and Baby Moses.
